Phaedra Parks showed us how good of a game player she was on The Traitors this year. Now, she’s maneuvered her way back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Parks will be returning to season 16 of the show, after previously starring on seasons three through nine from 2010 to 2017. “You called. I answered,” Parks wrote on Instagram, alongside photos of her holding a peach. Parks, a practicing attorney, became an early standout on RHOA, before leaving after she admitted to spreading rumors about castmate Kandi Burruss during season nine. She spent some time away from the Bravoverse before returning for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club in 2022. Since then, she’s continued to cash Bravo checks, joining the Atlanta-based Married to Medicine in 2023 and nearly winning The Traitors earlier this year. She’s still set to appear on the next season of M2M later this year as well.
Parks’s RHOA return comes just after Burruss left the show, along with Marlo Hampton, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Parks’s Traitors castmate Shereé Whitfield. And season 16 will reunite “Frick and Frack” with Parks’s longtime friend Porsha Williams also rejoining the show. The pressure will be on for the season — following Kenya Moore’s recent ouster, Drew Sidora is the only housewife coming back from season 15, while longtime guest star Shamea Morton Mwangi finally gets her peach. If we trust anyone to scheme up a good season of TV, it’s Ms. Phaedra Parks.
